By Keith Coffman DENVER (Reuters) - A Colorado veterinarian has been cited for practicing medicine without a license after a treating a human patient who then had to have three toes amputated, police said on Thursday. Francis Freemyer, who operates a small animal practice in Greeley, Colorado, was ticketed for "unauthorized practices," a misdemeanor, Greeley police said in a statement. Police said they were investigating whether Freemyer, 78, may have also illegally treated other people. They did not explain what the patient was treated for. ...
