By Nita Bhalla NEW DELHI (Thomson Reuters Foundation) - Armed with clean energy biomass stoves, tea-sellers in India's western city of Nashik are becoming unlikely heroes in the country's battle against indoor air pollution by not only using the wood-fuelled stoves for their trade but also selling them. The World Health Organization says 3 billion people globally cook using solid fuels such as charcoal and coal on open fires or traditional stoves, producing high levels of carbon monoxide, but it has been hard to switch people to clean energy. Various companies have designed cheap, efficient biomass stoves using wood as fuel but have struggled to gain traction.
