Why This Woman Drank Poison, Starved Herself and Ate Laxatives

Andrea Avigal, a former nurse and mother of two young daughters,intentionally injected herself with bacteria and nearly died of sepsis. Since childhood, she had suffered from Munchausen's syndrome, a psychiatric disorder that is rarely curable, drinking poison, starving herself and taking excessive laxatives.
