Russia's Lavrov says easing of tensions in east Ukraine a long way off: RIA

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Tuesday the easing of tensions in eastern Ukraine between Kiev and pro-Russian separatists was still a long way off. Speaking about steps taken in previous months to de-escalate tensions in eastern Ukraine, Lavrov told the RIA news agency in an interview: "As of yet, it is fully obvious that we are far from that goal."
